The short answer

Print books are made to order and usually printed in 3 to 5 business days, then shipped. You choose the shipping speed at checkout, from $5.69. Digital books download instantly and are not shipped. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, tell us within 30 days and we replace it.

How print orders work

Our print editions are printed when you order them, one copy at a time, by our print partner Lulu. Nothing sits in a warehouse, which is what keeps a 373-page reference book at a sensible price.

Printing: usually 3 to 5 business days before your book ships.
Then shipping: the time you choose at checkout, counted from the day it ships.
So a typical Mail order arrives roughly two to three weeks after you order. Faster options are there if you need it sooner.
Tracking: you get a confirmation email when the order is placed and another when it ships.

Shipping options and cost

Rates are calculated at checkout for your address. These are the United States rates for a single book, as of September 2026:

Expedited	6 – 12 business days · $20.74
Express	5 – 11 business days · $35.74

Sales tax is added where required and shown before you pay. We ship internationally; rates and times differ by country and are shown at checkout.

We do not mark up shipping. You pay the carrier rate Lulu quotes.

Returns, damage and misprints

Damaged, defective or wrongly printed books are replaced free. Email hello@targetedpeptidesystems.com within 30 days of the shipping date with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we arrange a replacement copy. Do not send the book back unless we ask you to.

Change-of-mind returns are not possible on print books. Each copy is printed for you individually, so there is no stock to return it to. This is standard for printed-to-order books, and it is why we put a free preview of every book on its page: read the sample pages before you buy.

Wrong address? Contact us the same day you order. Once a book is printed and handed to the carrier it cannot be redirected, and a parcel returned as undeliverable cannot be refunded.

Digital books

EPUB and PDF editions are delivered instantly through Gumroad, with nothing shipped. If a file will not download or open, email us and we will sort it out or refund you. Because the file is delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds simply because a book has been read.

Who you are buying from

Books are sold by NuTide Paradigm, the publisher. Print orders are produced and shipped by Lulu, our print partner, and payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your card details never reach us.
